I have never heard of this happening!

First, I hope you all had a very happy Thanksgiving. I have been using my Egg for nearly 20 years. I have never heard of this happening. My son-in-law got his egg a few years ago. This was the first year he decided to do his turkey on the egg. The guy who sold him the bird (He raises turkeys)told him if he he cooks the bird breast down, the bird will be more juicy. So, they set the Egg up the way described on the forums. They had the bird on the rack (breast down). It was about 17 pounds. After a period of time and monitored temps with the Guru, the bird was doing well except for in the breasts. He decided to flip the bird over so the breasts were now facing up. All in all, when the bird was done, everything was perfect except for only 1/2 of the breast which was 20 degrees under temp. Needless to say they were somewhat embarrassed after they had been boasting just how wonderful the Egg was and how this will be the best Turkey any of their guests would ever have. So fellow Eggers and Eggerettes, any thoughts on what happened?

Uncle Phil
