Anyone ever watch Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel?? It's filmed in Alaska and shows boats fishing for King Crab.
Whenever I see king crab in the market, it reminds me of that show and how dangerous it is to bring those crab legs to the market.
Publix had them for $21 per lb. so they landed in my shopping cart.
No before pic, because I forgot, and you know what they look like.
This is from the last time I bought them and just heated up on the egg:
This time I wanted to try some smoke on them, so I split them open with kitchen shears.
Ouch! I jabbed myself a few times, cause those shells are sharp! I left the shell on the bottom, so they could have a cooking vessel, sorta.
I brushed them with some Sriracha buttah a few times, just melted buttah mixed with some srichacha~
SMOKIN~
Lunch is served, with some hasselback zucchini and tators~
Not a shabby lunch!
