I made skirt steak using Alton Browns marinade recipe, only did not cook directly on the coals. Watch the video if you want to see how he does it.

I egged up some onions and peppers on the large egg plus a lemon and lime~

The thin steak got finished quickly at 475 degrees~
The marinade is delish~

I cooked some flour tortillas from Tortilla Land. Really good! They are raw and you cook em up in a skillet for about 30 seconds a side.

Served the steak with pickled red onions, salsa and sour cream, of course!

I made gazpacho and served with a dollop of sour cream. A nice chilled soup that is really refreshing in summer.

We went boating around the bay and had a freak out moment when we discovered that a BAT had been living in the bimini top.

We were out in 11 ft. of water when we discovered the BAT and almost had a heart attack driving the boat back to the dock with this nice BAT having crawled inside the zippered area of the top. FUN FUN.

Yea, well, I think we scared him off, so cross your fingers that he is gone!

Not too shabby of a day, all in all, especially in a pandemic.

Stay safe, everyone!
Thanks for lookin.

Egging since 1996.

Diamonds are a girls best friend, the EGG is a close second!
