I picked up these chicken burgers at Trader Joe's in the freezer section. If you haven't tried them yet, you should. Box of 4 around $3.50, so they're budget friendly, too.
All natural ingredients:
ground chicken, onions, bell peppers, garlic, cilantro, natural flavor, salt, lime juice concentrate, red pepper flakes
I thawed them out and reshaped them, cause they were super thin and I wanted mine thicker.
On the mini at 350 degrees~
I had mine with melted colby jack cheese, arugula, slice of tomato and homemade pickled red onions.
Quick pickled red onion recipe:
1/2 cup white vinegar or white wine vinegar
1/2 cup water
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tsp kosher salt
Bring to a boil and pour over 1 thinly sliced red onion. Store in a mason jar in the fridge and they last for a month.
These are crunchy and a nice compliment to salads and sandwiches, or anything served in a tortilla.
After egging the burgers, a big ole storm rolled in.
Yep, it's summertime in Florida!
Thanks for lookin.
