this week I am a serial smoker. I'm cooking several shoulders for our high school mission trip. I have the first one on now, and it should be done sometime tomorrow morning.

I doubt there will be enough lump remaining to smoke the next one starting tomrorrow afternoon. can I add more lump on top of the burning lump, or should I cap the egg and let the fire go out, then add charcoal, and re-light?

thanks!
