Once again, Mickey performed his magic before the Village Leaders and received their blessing for us to hold our Salado Eggfest in Pace Park at the pavilion on Saturday, March 15, 2014.

Of course, as we all know, the Eggfest will unofficially begin on Friday the 14th for many as they arrive from points all over the country, even just down the road. They will want to get themselves established, tour the Village and then join with others for a few hours at what promises to be a very nice Pre-Fest party. Details will be forthcoming but you can bet there will be food and drink. I think Mickey made it a rule...

So mark your calendars for the weekend of March 15th and start thinking about where you will stay, what you will cook, what to bring and even who to bring with you. You know it will be a lot of fun.

Oh, and if you are so inclined, St. Patrick's Green and Kilts are welcome dress, no matter that you are not the least bit Celtic.

See you in Salado...
