Organized a Farewell Party for our good friends Rosy & Jimmy who are moving to Dallas ( near Plano) this monday. We were given a Leg Of Lamb as a present so I started preparations early in the day. Brined it , the brine I used included roughly 1 1/2 tablespoon of coarse salt for each quart of water, and filled the pot to about 1/3 of the leg. Left brining overnightnd. Got it out, dried it with a paper towel and rubbed with mustard, flour (3 TS), Salt (1 TS) and Black Pepper (1 TS). Seared with EVOO at 500* F.until it looked fine.



Added the rest of the ingredients: A can of Consomé (1) a can of Cream Mushroom Soup (1), Worcestershire Sauce ( 3 TS), Mrs. Dash ( 1 TS), Garlic ( 1/2 TS), Curry Powder ( 1 TS) and White Wine up to 1/3 of the leg.Temps. were. 500* F (1 hr), 300* F (2 hrs) and 250* F (2 hrs). Lid On but kept basting regularly.



Ready to be served



It literally FELL OFF THE BONE, really tender & full of flavour.The brining process gave a nice rich red colour to the meat. Honestly even if you are not a lamb fan you must try this, not gamy, it's DELICIOSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



When you have good friends like this, it's a guarantee all's going to go fast.....





The girls got cold since it'd been raining earlier on and was nice & fresh, it served them well.... since no one even touched my lamb.... They missed it



Egged a nice Picanha for them not without being approved by the guys first PUlled at 135* F





Accompanied with Loren's Baked Potatoes w/ Cheese, Cream & Chives and on the drinking dept. w/ Riojas & Malbecs basically.

There were 10 children attending as well so I cooked 10 burgers for them in between cooks.

This was the picture at around 3:00 AM Today.



This two guys were the reason mostly.......
