Spritz Pickle Juice on Ribs?

I just watched Symon's Dinners Cooking Out on Food Network and Michael says to spritz your ribs with pickle juice instead of apple cider vinegar after wrapping in foil. Has anyone tried this? I am not a foil wrapping rib person, but it sounds interesting. Your thoughts?

I see he spritzes the ribs after the foil. Don't know why. I foil with beer, or a combo of apple cider vinegar and worcestshire sauce. Just my way 😎

I don't wrap, and I haven't bothered to spritz for a long time, but the sour of the pickle juice might be a fun change of pace. I might give the spritz a try next time I do ribs, maybe add a little sugar or honey for a sweet and sour tang. Thanks for the link!

I saw the same show.

I spritz my ribs with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and apple juice. If you think about it, pickle juice is just spiced vinegar.
