Has anyone egged a whole pork shoulder, about 14 lbs.
If so is it worth due to the size???

Thanks,

I have done 10 lb. pork butts and shoulders, but no bigger.
Why 14 lbs. and not slightly smaller?

I have not done one larger than 10 lbs. Are you having a party? Is this all for you?! If so, do you have extra freezer space? Are you actually gonna eat some?

Mostly no but if I do fire the egg up I have 4 people I need to share with. I would probably go with to butts.

Cheers,

For 4 people, one 10 lb. butt is plenty. If you want to send home lots of leftovers, make another one, but I think 20 lbs. will be way too much.
