I haven't made pizza on the egg in foreva. Kinda thought I forgot how!

I made the dough in the bread machine using this recipe~

https://www.williams-sonoma.com/recipe/bread-machine-pizza-dough.html

Good dough, easy to work with. Makes enough for 2 pizzas.

I built it on parchment paper and somehow accidentally got it to turn out round.

Toppings were bacon, mushrooms and red onion slices. Italian blend cheese~

Onto 500 degree egg, with a well established fire~ platesetter legs down on grid and 3 foil balls under the pizza stone~

I pulled out the parchment paper~

Pizza is served, fresh basil on top!

YUMMO. I need to do this more often.

Thanks for lookin!

Nice looking pie, Faith! I'll have to try that. I usually use a no knead recipe, but I have to remember to mix it first thing in the morning as it takes at least 8 hours. I have a bread machine that gets far too little use... and apparently takes much less time.

Thanks, Q. Give the dough a try. My bread machine took 1 1/2 hours, then a 40 minute rise in the bowl. Very easy, and as I said, the first time it was quite easy to get the dough ROUND.

Round is always easy. When you divide your bulk dough into 2, 3 or 4 pieces, shape each into a round ball. If you start with a round ball, you'll wind up with a round pizza.

If you need help on how to form a dough ball...
