Made some food for the elderly in-laws and delivered it today. Dropped it off without being in contact with anyone. I am considered at risk so I'm doing all that I can to stay safe. No contact with anyone except for the better half, and she is working from home. 84 cases in my small county in NY of 98k people. Scary stuff. I am pretty much self quarantined and if you have to be self quarantined southwest Florida is as good a place as any to do it.
It is very strange here what with all the beaches and parks closed. This is peak season for spring breakers and tourist and it looks like they have all gone home. This time of year we are usually swamped with heavy traffic but all is pretty quiet.
These are strange days my friend, take good care of yourself.

All the beaches and state and local parks in this area are closed. Parking and beach access are also closed. The last time I ventured out, a few days ago, I would have thought it was summer here, our slowest time of year. Even the traffic which is usually grid locked this time of year was light.
If you google "Florida beach web cams" you will probably see the truth of the matter.

Yep, beaches are closed here too. They closed all 35 miles of beaches in my county, which includes Clearwater beach (the beach that was shown on national news with all the dumb spring breakers). I am furloughed, so staying home. The pool in my complex is closed, like all public pools, so nothing to do but ride bikes and take the boat out. At least I have that! Egging since 1996.
Diamonds are a girls best friend, the EGG is a close second!
