Morning Faith:

Won't be cooking anything this weekend as I'll be in Fort Worth, TX as a judge for the Steak Cookoff Association World Championships...head out tomorrow & come back on Monday (just me, Kathy has her sister visiting)...there will be about 280 teams competing on Saturday for the chance to win the title (plus $10,000 to the winner) with at least 25 from outside the US...then on Sunday another 240 or so competing in the first contest of the new "steak" year...there is a welcome party on Thursday for the international teams, then Friday just a party before the contest...looking forward to a FUN (and steak-filled) weekend.
Have a GREAT day!

its been fun lately. roof leaked, ceiling is wrecked, stove died, bge hinge is dead, down to a blackstone and weber for the weekends, periodontis wants some big bucks for surgery, looks like new stove for the camp, new roof, chimney, attic windows, ceiling, attic vents, gingival flap surgery. fishing has been great cheap eat mode, burgers, dogs, thighs, korean tacos. did i mention my recent bp score of 185/117 this is a year for the record books, not my 401k

Hi Faith - I tried smash burgers last night to see what the big deal was. I used ground venison and added some fish sauce and some soy sauce. They were pretty good but not such a big deal. Sorry no pics.

Spam and tomatoes here. Sounds yucky but is really not that bad, plus it's cheap. Savin up for the crab claws you cook.
