Buster's Award Winning Drunk Chicken
Description:Beer Can Chicken as prepared by the Georgia Chicken Cookin' Champion
• 3 ½ lb Whole Fresh Fryer Chicken
• ½ Can 12 oz Budweiser beer
• 4 Tbs Legg's BBQ Rib Rub
• 1 Tbs Finely Chopped or minced Garlic
• 1 Tbs Sugar
• 1 Tbs Olive Oil
• 1 Buster's Drunk Chicken Roost
Instructions:Wash and dry chicken. Remove unwanted parts.
Mix Rib Rub and sugar. Apply olive oil all over chicken.
Rub or shake on spice mix generously. Even coating all over.
Put garlic in ½ full beer can. Add 1 Tbs of spice mix to can.
Put beer can in Roost.
Put chicken down over beer can. Press down firmly.

Preheat BGE to 350 degrees. Cook chicken at 350 degrees for 2 hours, or until internal temperature reaches 180 degrees. When done, tent with foil, let sit for 15 minutes. Put Roost with chickens on platter and carve and serve directly from Roost.

Notes:Recipe is for one chicken. Multiply by number of chickens if cooking more than one. Works best on Buster's Drunk Chicken Roost.
