Alaskan Cod
Group:Other
Description:

I had never heard of anyone BBQing this fish before but I gave it a try and it came out great! The large flakes of the meat (1/4 inch thick) almost taste like cooked scalops.

Ingredients:

3 lb of Alaskan Cod

Yellow mustard

Italian dressing

Pepper

Lemon juice

Instructions:

Smear Fish with lemon juice, yellow mustard, and Italian dressing.

Sprinkle pepper (coarse grind) over it

Let sit some time - the longer the better. Best if over night in a tuperware container.

Grill over plate setter 15 minutes per pound

Eat.

I used 350 and 15min/pound and it was perfect for a 5 pound striped bass

did you put the cod directly onto the grate or did you put aluminum foil down?
